FileBank was established in 1987 by Gregory Copeland, who recognized that organizations and institutions of all sizes and descriptions were simply overwhelmed by managing their information. The company was established to partner with organizations whose critical data and files had outgrown their ability to store and manage them.

Recognizing this need, Mr. Copeland began building a company with a reputation of trust, flexibility and creativity. With the goal to ensure that his customers feel that their confidential information is secure; that it is accessible to them from anywhere and at any time; that privacy is never compromised; and that value is a critical component of every transaction.

In 2004, FileBank opened its new technologically advanced facility in Oakland, New Jersey. Featuring infrared & password-protected doors, 40’ ceilings, stainless steel infrastructure, and 6-acre campus make this facility ideal for housing some of the world’s most important archived documents, media tapes and valuable assets.
