Deleting files or reformatting a drive doesn’t always remove the data. Information can often be recovered from old computers, servers, copiers and backup tapes long after they’re retired. Physical destruction makes sure sensitive data is gone for good.
Tell us what you need destroyed and how much.
We collect your media with a documented chain of custody.
Smaller jobs are shredded and drilled at our facility so the data can’t be recovered. We shred larger jobs at scale and send them to our trusted recycling partner.
You receive a certificate of destruction for every job. Serialized certificates that list each device’s serial number are available for an added fee.
All destroyed materials are recycled through a certified electronics recycler, so nothing ends up in a landfill.

Laws like HIPAA and FERPA require organizations to protect sensitive information through the moment it’s destroyed. FileBank’s media destruction follows NIST SP 800-88 guidelines for media sanitization and is designed to meet and exceed legal and regulatory requirements, protecting you from liability. Advanced chain-of-custody protocols show who handled your devices and when, so your sensitive data is handled with unparalleled care and accountability.
